Book Your Alpaca Experience

Alpaca Walks

  • Your Alpaca Walk experience will begin with a briefing in our barn with Andy or another member of our team.  You will find out all about these funny curious creatures and we will give you instructions to help keep you and the Alpacas safe and happy.
  • You will be given a copy of our terms and conditions and be asked to sign a waiver.  This can be seen here
  • Then you will be taken to meet the alpacas and given one to lead.  All of our Alpacas are halter trained and happy to be walked.  You will then set off on a walk around our beautiful farm, the routes may vary depending on weather or if the fields are being worked on, or simply for variation for the Alpacas.
  • Alpacas walk very slowly and like to stay together as a group.  There will be points along the route where we will stop so that you can take photos and the Alpacas can graze.
  • Alpacas are curious and endearing animals, however they are easily spooked by ‘excitable’ children - please consider whether your child will be calm enough to be in close contact with the animals; we want it to be a special and relaxing experience for both you and our alpacas.
  • This activity is not suitable for those with limited mobility or wheel chairs.  The walk is on undulating farmland and although the Fens are fairly flat, it is mostly grass tracks with ruts and undergrowth etc.  If you have mobility issues, you may enjoy the Meet & Greet experience more.
